Spring cleaning on balcony or terrace

Dear All, I have decided that during the time of emergency I will write a little tidying inspiration every day so that you will not be bored at home and you can use this emergency situation for something positive like tidying. I am convinced that tidying makes you happy and calms both spirit and mind.

Today, the balcony or terrace is on the agenda so that you can soak up the sun there in the coming weeks and wave to your neighbours. Maybe you'd like to sing together like in Italy... 🙂

Here is a small checklist:

  • Wipe the floor
  • Take the garden furniture out of the cellar or cover it if you have a tarpaulin and clean everything thoroughly. It may make sense to wash the seat cushions and blankets.
  • Take out the grill. Check whether you should clean the grate. Do you still need gas or coal? (You may still be able to find it at the Coop or a petrol station).
  • Plaster the railings, walls, window ledges
  • Maybe you can also bring the plants out of hibernation if you had them in the cellar or packed up. If you still have seeds at home, it would be nice to plant some and watch them grow over the next few weeks... The children will be happy to help with this task (if you have any).

Speaking of children... you can integrate the children into all the tidying and cleaning tasks. It might take longer that way, but we have more time than ever...

Stay well and see you tomorrow!!!
